Abderrahim Ait Ben Moh

Founder & CEO

Under my lead Zoom Media has evolved from a one-man company in the attic to the #1 search engine for radio and television content in the Netherlands. As the founder and CEO of Zoom Media, I am challenged with the technological innovations and developments in the field of journalism, media and big data on a daily basis. Therefore I am deeply interested in constructing sustainable paid content models and strongly believe that co-creation and customization lead to added value.

Frans Olsthoorn

Frans Olsthoorn

COO

I have always been interested in current affairs and politics. So working at Zoom Media, where those two elements are our bread and butter, seemed like a natural step. Having been made COO, I am responsible for all operational aspects within Zoom Media. I am closely involved in Zoom Media's strategy development and have been enjoying a number of years' fruitful collaboration with an excellent team of young professionals who share my interest in the news and politics. Customers can come to me to ask for information. And the same applies to young professionals that want to strengthen our team. Just send me an e-mail, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

CTO

From the moment that Zoom Media was pitched in 2010, I believed in the potential of the concept. I was asked to build the platform and system architecture for the company. I took on the challenge without hesitation and, since then, have done everything I can to contribute to the success of the company. I built the core systems from zero, and help customers to incorporate Zoom Media content. Zoom Media has since developed into a mature organisation and, as CTO, I am responsible for all technical issues and supporting the strategic aims for the future. What this actually means is managing our own development team and finding the right partners and suppliers. Customers and partners who want to talk about integrating systems and other technical matters can come to me.

Editor

During my History course at the University of Leiden I specialised in the way in which news was spread throughout the Netherlands in the Dutch Golden Age. I was fascinated to learn that printed matter in those days played as great a role as today in shaping public perceptions in a country. So it was hardly a giant leap for me to come to work for Zoom Media, although we do work here with somewhat more advanced technology than the simple typesetting of days of yore. As Editor-in-chief, I am now responsible for all editorial activities. In close collaboration with my colleagues, I ensure that all relevant radio and television clips are delivered to our customers. In addition my team of senior mediareporters and I make sure that these summaries meet the high Zoom Media standards. If you have any questions on how the monitoring process works, don't hesitate to send me an e-mail message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Media Analist

For as long as I can remember, I have devoured current affairs and watched developments in The Hague, the seat of government, like a hawk. This natural curiosity and interest in politics are both essential aspects of my work at Zoom Media. As a Media Analyst, I identify and analyse media monitoring trends, and search for relevant data for our clients. Together with my team, I create insightful reports and look for new ways to create value using our data. Apart from this, I am an active member of the local section of a political party and am a would-be star of the lower reaches of the amateur football leagues in The Hague.

Senior Mediareporter

As a history graduate I have always been busy with the past. But at Zoom Media I am learning how interesting the present can be. What with the diversity of our customer database we are involved with a wide range of issues including politics, economics and news from abroad. As Senior Media Reporter, my job is to supervise an enthusiastic group of media reporters each evening while they monitor current affairs, and I edit the summaries they generate so that they meet our high standards. Having been born and bred in The Hague, I am proud to work in the city where all the news we monitor ultimately comes together. But history can't seem to leave me alone because outside my work with Zoom Media I am a historical adviser to the 5th of May (Liberation Day) Committee in The Hague. In this way my career brings together the best of both worlds.

Kees de Jong

Kees de Jong

Senior Mediareporter

My vivid interest in news and current affairs comes in handy while working for Zoom Media. Editing my colleagues' work is an interesting change from my study at Delft University, which is mechanical engineering. Whereas I research the smallest elements imaginable in my field, at Zoom Media I process news facts about the biggest events happening around the globe. As Senior Media Reporter I take part in the editorial department and am responsible for the quality preservation of our products. Apart from that, I coach new team members, and on workdays I am the focal point for all employees.

Location

Our office is situated in the historic centre of The Hague across the national parliament. As in our work, we also like to stay on top of the news physically. Interested in how we work? Drop us an e-mail and let’s make an appointment.
